A registered Yoga Elder with the Independent Yoga Network.


Has been practising and teaching yoga for over 20 years and has a clear, precise, friendly and fun-filled approach to teaching with a keen emphasis on encouraging students to work strongly to their own ability and experience level, develop conscious awareness and stay present and connected with the body and breath.


Is qualified and experienced in Karuna Yoga (RYS 500 Hour Teaching Diploma), an Iyengar inspired yoga that focuses on anatomy and alignment, strength, stamina, stability, and suppleness, whilst cultivating a calming, meditative, relaxed space from the busyness of daily life.


Is a mentor and source of reference to many yoga teachers and students and undertakes her own yoga and wellness teaching training school.

Is an experienced meditator and continues to encompass the whole 8 limbed yogic philosophy and wisdom of the Tao into daily life.  This contributes to Maxine’s own continued spiritual and personal development and allows for conscious connection and awareness on her own path.


Offers numerous weekly sessions to a varied mix of clients; general public, corporate clients, private clients, schools and colleges, prisons and probation offices.


Regularly hosts yoga, meditation and mindfulness workshops and yoga wellness retreats both in the UK and abroad.
